Debbie has held an Ofsted regional lead responsibility for independent schools. She is a qualified teacher and, before joining Ofsted, held various senior leadership positions in secondary education and initial teacher training. Her main responsibilities included quality assurance, leadership development and school improvement. Debbie has a Master’s degree in Leadership and Management in Education and has also completed her NPQH. Her particular areas of expertise are teaching and learning, leadership development, and coaching and mentoring.
